h!n!k!

it’s been a pretty interesting evening. recap of the night:

• random dust storm
• lightning. lots of lightning.
• mediocre monsoon
• power went off and back on about 5 or 6 times. hooray for rolling blackouts!
• tons of ambulances and fire trucks were parked down the street
• and now a helicopter is circling my building with a search light

fun fun fun. it’s my last night in this apartment. i have to pick up a u-haul at 8 in the morning. everyone’s coming at 930 to help us move. we’ll probably be done by 1. we took the majority of the boxes and stuff to the house throughout the week, so it shouldn’t take too long to get the big stuff out tomorrow. we wanted to try and have a bbq tomorrow for everyone who is helping us move, but there is a chance of rain tomorrow so i don’t know if that’s going to pan out.
mikey’s devastator round 2 party is tomorrow. i didn’t drink at the last one but i had a lot of fun. everyone else was wasted so that was pretty entertaining. i don’t know if we will make it though… depends on how exhausted we are from the move.  
we weren’t thinking and we threw out our shower curtains while we were finishing up with the packing, so now i have to go take a shower and try very hard not to flood my bathroom.
